Microsoft is experiencing an issue which may cause admins to see delays in multiple usage report types in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Due to the delay in data propagation, impacted usage reports may not be viewable. This post will be updated as new information becomes available.

The following usage report types may have been delayed since September 29, 2026:

- Active user reports

- Email Activity reports

- Email Apps usage reports

- Mailbox usage reports

- Microsoft 365 Apps usage reports

- Microsoft Teams usage reports

- Group Activity reports

- Adoption Score reports

Latest update from Microsoft: 

Oct 6, 2026, 18:21 (UTC):

Following our traffic optimizations to the affected subset of service infrastructure, we're monitoring their recovery and the reduction of data reporting delays. We're expecting clarity into our mitigation timeline by our next scheduled communication update.
